Objectives

  • • Identifying prognostic factors of damage and disability
  • • Evaluating the efficacy and safety of drugs in clinical practice
  • • Evaluating adherence to the recommendations on the clinical validating the application of the prospective criteria ACR/EULAR for gout diagnosis
  • • Validate & Develop a disease activity score in gout and validate diagnostic tools for CPP arthritis

Study design

  The study of transversal and prospective axial design. Transverse study includes suspicious or probable subjects as they enter the longitudinal phase only subjects with certain diagnosis of Crystal induced Arthritis .Retrospective Study, Prospective Study.

Recruitment

  Patients will be recruited consecutively from the rheumatology centers (as described above).

Criteria for inclusion and exclusion of patients with acute arthritis and expect arthritis from microcrystal transverse) clinical diagnosis of gout (clinical diagnosis of CPP arthritis .

Demographic variables as Lifestyles, Comorbidity, Clinical assessment (ACR / EULAR criteria)

Laboratory Ultrasound Therapies Adverse events Process outcome variables of the different management phases starting from the EULAR recommendations for the diagnosis and treatment of microcrystal arthritis (GOUT & CPPD) .Radiographic damage score (sVHe JSN score VAS pain, patient global, physician (G & C) Hyperuricemia (G) Adverse events (G & C)

Analysis plan

  • Analysis of the primary outcome

      probability (risk) and the achievement of the target / adherence to the primary recommendations.

  • Secondary analysis

      Therapeutic and organizational analysis (setting) on the outcome variables Influence of demographic, clinical, adverse) will be explored longitudinal (target achievement, survival in treatment, events using regression models appropriate to the typology of outcome variable
